2013 can be called the year of the smartphone with their sales overtaking feature cell phones sales.

During the year, sales of smartphones accounted for 53.6% of the overall cell phones sales according to data released by research firm Gartner.


In terms of handset brands, there's been a major shift with big names like HTC, BlackBerry (erstwhile Research In Motion) and Motorola not making it to the list of the top 10 handset vendors (by unit sales).

  1. I personally think that Apple is the best and top mobile company. Although a bit expensive, its products represent status, reliability, and are extremely efficient. All time favourite.
